Wow, you're doing really well! ;D I thought I was doing great with my 4800 words, but feel slightly inadequate now...  NaNoWriMo is destroying my excellent life on the other hand, who knew it could be this time consuming?! |

Haha. Thanks! 4,800 is pretty good, considering it's the 4th day! Yeah... I've had a lot of work to do in the past couple of days, so naturally I have been writing like crazy instead of doing the work  |

Hey everyone, so I've just hit 30K... :/ I'm pleased with my word count so far but I'm still like 5000 words behind. I had one terrible week where I didn't write for five days and I've been paying for it ever since. How's everyone else getting on?

Hey everyone, so I've just hit 30K... :/ I'm pleased with my word count so far but I'm still like 5000 words behind. I had one terrible week where I didn't write for five days and I've been paying for it ever since. How's everyone else getting on? 5,000 word isn't that far behind. If you have a focused writing session on one of the weekends, you should easily be able to get back on track! Also, I don't know if you've heard, but the ELS are having drop-in writing sessions in the last 3 days of November so if you come down to those, hopefully you'll be able to pick up your word count pretty fast! |

I didn't think that was possible, it must feel great to know that you've won regardless now It does, although finishing the novel is another story altogether. I know there are people on the official NaNo forum who hit 50k in a day or two. It's mad! |
