As November is fast approaching, the English and Literary society would like to inform you of an important literary event that takes place all throughout the month of November: NaNoWriMo. What is this NaNoWriMo, you ask?
National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. The event starts on November 1st and progresses until the 30th of November. The aim is to write a 50,000 world novel in these 30 days.
Not an easy feat by any means but if you’ve ever wanted to sink your teeth into novel-writing, this is the opportunity for you to do so! You can find more info on NaNoWriMo on their official website at www.nanowrimo.org, along with many helpful tips and tricks about reaching that 50,000 word goal that you can avail of on their forum.
We highly recommend all members to take this incredibly self-rewarding challenge.
To those of you who choose to embark on the 30 days and nights of literary adventure, I wish you the best of luck in your endeavours.
And to those of you who decide not to undertake it… well, I’ll have a novel at the end of November.
